REZILIENCE is...

The idea of REZILIENCE means something different to each of us in the Native American community. However, the overall idea is an awareness, a movement of our generation to step forth and be recognized for our existence through the power of creativity.

My good friend Warren Montoya of the Santa Ana Pueblo of New Mexico, has founded this unique experience which showcases all the best in the Indigenous arts. Through visual arts, fashion, music, dance, spoken word, we each have a story to tell and every story told is unique. Creativity is a growing strength among our Native tribes and the opportunities to voice and show who we are come at great events such as REZILIENCE.

ACONAV had a great experience and some good exposure to new eyes at the 2016 event. We can only expect this year to be better than the last! We strongly encourage our fellow artists, designers, and those in the arts community to come and experience REZILIENCE for yourselves. We invite all of you to come, learn, and support us and our friends in this unique event! Two days of celebration at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque, NM, April 29th & 30th. More information and tickets to the events are available at REZARTX.com.

We look forward to seeing you there!
